THREE-DAY ELEPHANT KEEPER EXPERIENCE

Perfect for animal lovers, eco-tourists, and those seeking an authentic Thai experience, this program offers everything from feeding elephants to hiking through the forest and connecting with local communities.

Day 1: A Journey into the Wild

– 8:30am – Hotel Pickup & Market Stop
Your day begins with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by a stop at a vibrant local market. Take in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the region before continuing your journey to the Elephant Village (EFV).

– 10:30am – Arrival at EFV
Once you arrive, enjoy a short introductory presentation about the sanctuary, its mission, and what to expect from the tour.

– 11:15am – Elephant Interaction: Feeding Time
Get up close and personal with the elephants at the feeding barrier. Experience the joy of feeding these majestic creatures and learning about their dietary habits.

– 1:30pm – Lunch in the Forest
Savor a delicious meal surrounded by the serenity of the forest, enjoying the peace of nature and the sound of the wildlife.

– 2:15pm – Elephant Trek to the Waterfall
Walk with the elephants through scenic trails, leading to a picturesque waterfall where you’ll enjoy some peaceful moments alongside your gentle companions.

– 3:30pm – Snacks at the Camp
Recharge with light snacks and relax at the camp.

– 4:00pm – Rest Time or Explore
Guests are free to either rest or explore the camp’s surroundings.

– 5:30pm – Karen Village Exploration
Engage in the local community by visiting our village. Includes local coffee at a 150yo organic garden.

– 6:30pm – Dinner at a Villager’s Home
Enjoy a traditional Thai meal prepared by a local family. It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

– 9:00pm – Retire to Homestay
After a long and exciting day, relax and rest at your cozy homestay.

Day 3: Bonding with the Elephants

– 8:00am – Breakfast at Camp

Fuel up with breakfast and fresh coffee at the elephant camp.

– 9:00am – Elephant Care & Health Check

Assist in cleaning the elephants’ sleep area and conduct another health check.

– 10:00am – Hike with Elephants

One last trek through the forest with your elephant companion.

– 12:00pm – Forest Lunch

Prepare and enjoy lunch in the forest while letting the elephants forage for food.

– 1:30pm – River Bathing

Locate the elephants and bring them to the river for a fun swim and bath.

– 4:00pm – Return to the Camp & Feeding Time

Return to the camp, where you’ll help bring food to the elephant house and feed the elephants.

– 6:00pm –  Barbecue at Elephant Keeper House 

As the day winds down, join the elephant keepers for a relaxing barbecue dinner at their house. After dinner, you’ll have another opportunity to feed the elephants.

– 9:00pm –  Final Elephant Feeding & Rest

Before heading to bed, you’ll feed the elephants one more time.

 The Next Morning: 

– 8:00am – Breakfast & Coffee at Elephant Camp

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and freshly brewed coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the elephant camp.

– 9:00am – Elephant Housing Cleaning & Health Check

Participate in cleaning the elephants’ housing area and conducting a health check, ensuring their environment is clean and that they remain in good health.

– 10:30am – Farewell & Departure from Camp

As your time with the elephants comes to an end, say your goodbyes to the elephants and the keepers before departing from the camp. Take with you unforgettable memories of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
