This program is designed for people who don’t need a lot of luxury to be happy; those who are interested in learning how to live a simple, and traditional life. You will have the opportunity to spend almost every day working with the elephants under our care.

We ask that those who stay with us help teach English both to staff and to children at the local school.

We ask that people are respectful and avoid partaking in after-hours socializing, unless a designated staff member is present.

This program involves a lot of hiking and physical work so volunteers should be in somewhat decent shape.

We expect volunteers to treat this as a learning opportunity: you will be immersed in a Karen Hilltribe village and must respect and adhere to the rules of the village.

Those who do not respect these rules or expectations will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
